My name is Zoë Malcolm!
I write about found-family and breaking legacies. I write characters forced to forge their own stories with an honesty and curiosity they have to earn.
I also believe magic and science are sisters. Fantasy and science-fiction are simply the new myths. And just like myths of old… I want us to confront the stories we are told and the stories we tell ourselves.
I want us to be truth-seekers. I want us to dare to imagine that the secrecy of inter-generational trauma need not define us. I want us to challenge the roles of gender and ethnicity.
I want us to tell new stories! Our stories. With honesty, trust and love.
